Enrollment for the 2020-21 School Year is now OPEN! Enrollment information is provided below.

 

H.T. Wiley Intermediate School

Wiley 4-H Afterschool – provides afterschool academic support and enrichment in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) topics that develop critical thinking, and help students see how science, technology, engineering, and math relate to their everyday lives. The program uses the 4-H hands-on experiential learning style. Students have access to teacher tutors to work in small group settings specifically aligning with their school day academic work. This program is funded by the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant; there is no cost to attend.

Who Can Attend: This program is open to students in 5th and 6th grades attending H.T. Wiley Intermediate School.

Program Dates & Hours: Monday – Friday from school dismissal until 6:00 PM on every full day school is in session. No programming will be held on half days, early dismissal, or when afterschool activities are canceled. 

Transportation: No transportation is provided for this program; parent pickup is no later than 6:00 PM.

Enrollment Instructions: Enrollment into the program is held on a first come, first serve basis. Limited spaces are available. You will be notified when your child has been accepted into the program. Once the program is full, further enrollments will be placed on a waiting list.

Please complete the enrollment form with as much information as possible. Pay special attention to contact information, transportation authorization, and medical information. Your child may not start the program until all required enrollment information has been submitted.

Medication Consent Form & Instructions: The program staff have emergency medication training and are able to administer emergency medication only. Examples of emergency medication include epi-pens, inhalers, and glucagons. For medication that is administered daily, please contact the school nurse and arrange for medication to be administered at the end of the school day. Please be aware that if your child requires emergency medication, you will need to provide an extra prescription to the site coordinator before your child can start the program.

Case Middle School

Case 4-H Afterschool – provides afterschool academic support and enrichment along with the 4-H National mandates – Healthy Living, Citizenship, and Science. In addition, the program offers students career and job readiness life skills that include interviewing, public speaking, resume writing, introduction to careers, financial management education, entrepreneurship experiences, and community development activities. This program is funded by the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant; there is no cost to attend.

Who Can Attend: This program is open to students in 7th & 8th grades attending Watertown Case Middle School.

Program Dates & Hours: Monday through Friday from school dismissal until 4:30 PM on every full day school is in session. No programming will be held on half days, early dismissal, or when afterschool activities are canceled. 

Transportation: One bus is provided by the school Monday-Thursday every week. The bus leaves after enrichment activities at 3:30 PM. Students that do not take the bus can be picked up no later than 4:30 PM. Alternatively, your child may sign themselves out at program dismissal if a completed walker form is submitted to the program.
