Learn to grow your own oyster mushrooms!
Learn about mushroom biology. Learn how to sterilize and inoculate a substrate. Hear about potential business opportunities. Experiment with other substrates from your home, such as spent coffee grounds, hardwood fuel pellets, brown cardboard, and more!
Each participant will be provided with a kit containing oyster mushroom spawn, three specialized plastic grow bags, and straw substrate. You will have a choice to do the workshop in person or by Zoom. Pre-registration is required!
