Saving our Native Bats

Bats are a critical part of our ecosystem. This workshop will discuss:
- Basic bat biology
- White nose disease
- Actions to protect bats
- Welcoming bats into your yard or farm
- Benefits bats provide to local gardens and agriculture
Speakers include:
- Angelena Ross, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation
- Mike Nuckols, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County
Mike will demonstrate how easy it is to build a basic bat box!
This program is free, although participants may need to pay a day use fee for entry to the park.
