Are you craving healthier snacks? Want to get your child involved in the kitchen? Join us for our Family Snacking Series every Thursday to cook up a delicious new recipe each week with our nutrition educator. Our parenting educator will offer suggestions and answer all your questions about avoiding power struggles around food, getting your child excited to try new foods, and more!

Please register in advance and we will send out a materials list so you and your family can cook along! 

June 4th: Peanut Butter Fruit Dip

  • Topics will include:
    • Add some protein for an energizing snack. 
    • Telling your children what they can do, instead of what they can't. 

June 11th: Bell Pepper Smoothie

  • Topics will include:
    • Help our children get enough fruits and vegetables in their day, add both to a breakfast smoothie.
    • Offering choices to your children.  

June 18th: Strawberry Salsa

  • Topics will include:
    • Mixing up classic dishes to use in-season produce to save money and increase flavor. 
    • Setting a good example for your children. 

June 24th: Almond Rice Pudding

  • Topics will include:
    • Make half your grains whole.
    • Changing an environment instead of your child's behavior.
