3-D Design and Modeling
3-D Design offers students grades 4 and up the opportunity to learn how to create 3-dimensional objects in a digital environment. We achieve this by providing an extensive course in using the program TinkerCAD, a simplified version of CAD (computer-aided design). Students develop the necessary skills to build original objects digitally. To demonstrate the real-world application of 3-D Design, we 3-D print many of the projects students create. They see their digital creations produced into a physical object that is mailed directly to their home!
