Cow Comfort Workshop - Freestalls and Tie Stalls

The Cow Comfort Workshops are an educational program for farmers, employees, and agri-service professionals who work directly with dairy cows. The workshops will cover economics of improving cow comfort, stall design and management, stocking density, heat abatement, and effects of cow comfort on production. 

The Cow Comfort Workshop is a day-long program, held from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The program will be held in the classroom and on farm, with a combination of presentations, farm walk-throughs, and discussion.

Tie Stall Cow Comfort Workshop - Monday, December 9th at CCE Jefferson, 203 N. Hamilton St. Watertown, NY

  • Featured Speaker: Dan McFarland, Penn State
  • Dan McFarland is known for his research surrounding heat stress abatement techniques and stall, barn, and ventilation design. 

Fee

Each course is $10 pre-registration OR $15 day of registration.
