What is 4-H Afterschool? The 4-H Afterschool Program provides afterschool academic support and enrichment in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) topics that develop critical thinking, and help students see how science, technology, engineering, and math relate to their everyday lives. The program uses the 4-H hands-on experiential learning style. Students have access to teacher tutors to work in small group settings specifically aligning with their school day academic work. 4-H Afterschool Programs are funded by the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant, Extended School Day School Violence Prevention grant, and American Rescue Plan funding; there is no cost to attend.
Who Can Attend: The 4-H Afterschool Programs are open to students who are enrolled to attend school in the building where the 4-H Afterschool Program is offered.
