Title of Position: Parenting Educator Credential Coordinator
Details of Position: F/T, 40 hrs/wk, $20.00/hr
Location of Position: CCE Jefferson County, 203 N. Hamilton St. Watertown, NY
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the oversight, implementation, and marketing of the Parenting Educator Credential program.
- Work with the Executive and Steering Committees, as well as relevant workgroups, to implement best practice strategies and recommendations.
- Be responsible for the credential application process, recruitment and training of Parenting Educator Credential mentors, and promoting the Parenting Educator Credential and the importance of quality parenting education throughout NYS.
- Further develop and grow the New York State Parenting Educator Credential program.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
Degree or equivalent education (Associate’s Degree and 2 years of transferrable
program/functional experience) in education, human services, or related field.
- Experience
relevant to the role of the position.
- Knowledge
of credentialling systems.
- Must begin the Parenting Education Credential process
within the first six (6) months of hire; and complete within two (2) years of
hire.
- Valid

Title of Position: CARE 4-H Wellness Educator
Details of Position: F/T, 40 hrs/wk, $21.50/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide both youth and family education using pre-approved lesson plans and curricula, specifically for households in the Watertown area and the Fort Drum Military Installation.
- Coordinate, collaborate, design, and provide adult-supervised research-based programs for 200 youth between the ages of 10-13 annually.
- Recruit, train, and support 4-H volunteers to provide 4-H Club programming.
- Programming may take place afterschool, on weekends, during school breaks, and in the evenings, within the 40-hour work week (schedule may vary from week to week).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
Degree or equivalent education (Associate’s Degree
and 2 years of transferrable program/functional experience).
- Experience
relevant to the role of the position.
- Experience
with positive youth development programming such as 4-H,

Title of Position: SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement nutrition, food demonstration, and cooking programming using pre-approved lesson plans and curricula aimed at improving healthy food and lifestyle choices among low-income families, individual, and youth groups throughout Jefferson and Lewis counties.
- Provide programming both on-site and off-site in the community.
- Assist the Nutrition Program Manager with marketing efforts and monthly reporting for SNAP-Ed, in collaboration with other nutritionists of the SNAP-ED program in the North Country Region.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education (Associate’s Degree and 2 years of transferrable program/functional experience) or above, preferably in nutrition, dietetics, community and behavioral health, health education, public health, or nursing. This includes persons certified as RD, RDN, CCN, CNS, and RN as well as other individuals with coursework/experience in nutrition and/or health education with training and/or experience to communicating nutrition and obesity prevention topics.
- Strong understanding of community nutrition education topics and obesity prevention delivery methods.
- Experience with and understanding of rural, low-income populations.
- Experience with addressing nutrition/food insecurity.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License and the ability to meet travel requirements.
- Ability to meet acceptable background check standards (DMV and criminal background checks).

- Provide high-level leadership and guidance of the financial operations for the North/Central/Nassau Shared Business Network and assigned finance contract services to Association and SBNs across New York State.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s

- Experience to
include budget preparation and management, accounts receivable/payable
tracking, expense/revenue tracking, cash flow tracking, reconciliation,
reporting, compliance, and grants/contracts management.
- High-level skills
in spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), accounting software, word processing
(Microsoft Word), and internet, cloud-based software. Demonstrated ability to
perform advanced spreadsheet and database functions including creating, analyzing,
reporting and maintaining electronic spreadsheets and databases.
- Knowledge
of financial operations as well as grant/proposal procedures. Thorough
