Details of Position: P/T, 32 hrs/wk, $18.00/hr
Location of Position: North Country Welcome Center, Alexandria Bay, NY
Key Responsibilities:
- Act in the capacity of cashier, store clerk, utility clerk and open and close the store as necessary.
- Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and restocking of supplies on a daily basis.
- Assist with cash register operations, food service, record keeping and inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service, including discussing local agriculture and food products with customers.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Experience relevant to the role of the position.
- Ability to complete basic math in a fast-paced environment and operate or learn to operate a cash register.
- Must be able to push/pull 50-75 pounds and lift 20-50 lbs. regularly.
