If you are a farmer, landowner, or Jefferson County resident interested in learning more about our native grassland birds; Please join us for this in-person presentation by Wildlife Biologist - Liz Simons from New York State Department of Conservation.

Liz is a Wildlife Biologist in Region 6 working out of the Watertown office. She currently serves as co-chair of the Bird Mammal and Diversity Team and is involved in the grassland bird subteam and the project review working group. She is also the regional representative for the Migratory Game Bird Team. Previously, she worked as a Wildlife Tech out of the Brownville DEC office. Liz holds a B.S. in Biology and a M.S. in Education from St. Lawrence University.
