Session 1: Advanced Workshop: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Learn about tax implications of labor changes, new legislation, tax energy credits, an update from Cornell Ag Workforce Development, and more. Cost is $5. Lunch will be provided. Pay at the door.
Session 2: Beginner's Workshop: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Learn about farm tax basics like categorizing income and expenses, best practices for record-keeping, benefits of real property taxes for full-time farmers, sales tax exemptions, and when to collect sales tax from your customers. Free, snacks provided.
