The Comprehensive Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program is a subcontract from the North Country Prenatal Perinatal Council that targets the Alexandria, LaFargeville, Lyme, Gouverneur, Indian River, and Watertown schools with positive youth development programs. This program will utilize 4-H Healthy Living curricula to target middle school students. Through collaboration with schools, teachers and communities the 4-H resources will bring life skills in the areas of self-esteem, self-efficacy, confidence and much more to youth. Youth will gain knowledge through the 4-H experiential learning style and exposure to opportunities that they otherwise would not have been able to participate in.
