If you've ever wondered if agriculture might be in your future, make sure to sign up for our Exploring the Small Farm Dream webinar series! In collaboration with the Broome County CCE, we will be offering this 4 part series through a webinar at the Jefferson County CCE office. We'll use a workbook from the New England Small Farm Institute to understand all aspects of farming and how it may (or may not) fit into your lifestyle.

During this four part series participants will begin to think through small scale farming as a business (rather than a hobby), learn what it takes to start and manage a farm business and decide whether that is something they want to pursue. Through in-classroom education, peer support and self-study participants will finish the series being to answer whether farming is for them, and move onto working through a business plan.

The cost to attend this workshop is $50/farm or family and includes two registrations. This includes a workbook to walk through the four-part decision making phase and refreshments provided at each meeting. Pre-registration is required. Veterans and Military Families are free!
