Commercial Horticulture

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County provides direct support for commercial growers, to include free or low-cost classes, on-site visits, support when writing a business and marketing plan, troubleshooting vegetable crops, and more. Support is available for all farmers, whether they are growing row-crops using conventional methods on large acreage or small organic farms growing on a single acre. With support from Cornell University, we can assist with topics as varied as orchard management, specialty mushrooms, and greenhouse production. Call us or stop in today!
